AM drop-in sessions | 18-20 January 2022 | Registration CLOSES: 4pm, 17 Jan || Liverpool City Council plan to make the city carbon neutral by 2030, creating more energy-efficient housing stock, increasing the amount of green space in the city area, and improving air quality. The Council’s vision includes: incentives for the private sector to build more energy-efficient housing; retrofitting 6,000 homes with energy-saving features such as triple glazing, heat pumps and solar panels; and financial incentives for homeowners, including discounted green mortgages.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Liverpool John Moores University plays a unique role in fusing industry and academia together. It leads and delivers a range of business innovation programmes, including the Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory.

Our online retrofit conferences are held inside our unique Retrofit Meeting House, in Remo. Remo offers a sociable and participative mix of multiple table-based video chats, freedom to move around the tables and choose your own experience, live broadcast presentations and Q&A, direct interaction with presenters and attendees, ‘take the mic’, speed networking, hosted tables, facilitated workshops with interactive Miro whiteboard, 1-2-One and 1-2-Many networking and interaction, personal profiles, social links and contact sharing.
