Tim Lunel is Project Manager for Cosy Homes Oxfordshire, as well as Chair of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme. He has worked in the home energy sphere for much of his career, having previously been Chief Executive of the National Energy Foundation from 2005 to 2012 – during which time he’s seen improvements in low carbon technologies and progress in decarbonising the UK grid.
Tim is also Treasurer of Hook Norton Community Land Trust and has led their project to get planning permission for 12 new-build PassivHaus homes. He is Company Secretary of Hook Norton Low Carbon Limited – a low carbon community group which was awarded the status of Energy Neutral Village in 2014 in the ACE Awards (Academy of Champions for Energy), one of Europe’s most high-profile events that recognises achievements in renewable and sustainable community energy.
